As part of the ISAGA 2.0 Seminars (Meetings between History, Archaeology, Geography and the Environment 2022-2023) and the activities of the Rural and Landscape Archeology and History Laboratory (AstraLab), promoted by the Department of Antiquities, Philosophy and History (DAFIST) and the Department of Earth and Life Sciences (DISTAV) of the University of Genoa, the collective volume edited by Alessia Frisetti (Suor Orsola Benincasa University, Naples) entitled Montanari di ieri e di oggi. Vivere, costruire e produrre sugli Appennini (Studi Vulturnensi series, 19, Volturnia Edizioni) will be presented.

The volume collects the Proceedings of the conference held in S. Potito Sannitico - CE (19-21 April 2021), focusing on peculiar aspects of uplands living, in order to keep alive the historical memory of these territorial sectors, more sensitively exposed to dynamics of disintegration and abandonment. Within a dynamic perspective, typical of Landscape Archaeology, punctual analysis frameworks have therefore converged through an interdisciplinary vision including articulated methodologies and diversified sources.

The presentation will be held on 29 March 2023, at 2.30 pm at the University of Genoa, in Via Balbi 6 (Seminar Hall, 3rd floor). Giulia Bizzarri and Caterina Piu (PhD candidates in Archeology and Environmental History at the University of Genoa) will dialogue with the curator.
