This seems a very good year for grapefruits in the Cinque Terre National Park of Liguria. The spring season has been relatively rainy, while the summer started warm and sunny as it should be.

This situation was observed by the researchers Andrea Costa, Giacomo Rosa, Sebastiano Salvidio and the Park Biodiversity officer Matteo Perrone, when inspecting the recently restored terraces overlooking the sea in this beautiful Mediterranean landscape.
